11U Boys County Cup Report

Our County Cup journey at The Chichester Rackets & Fitness Club saw our team face off against five other counties in a series of challenging and competitive matches. 

Match 1: Sussex

The opening match against Sussex was tough, resulting in a 5-1 loss. Despite our team's best efforts, Sussex proved to be formidable opponents. Jonah, Noah, Christo, William & Theo, displayed commendable spirit and resilience, but only managed to secure one win.

Match 2: Berkshire

In our second match against Berkshire, the competition was fierce. The singles matches ended in a 2-2 draw, showcasing the evenly matched skills of both teams. However, we eventually lost 4-2 after the doubles matches. This close contest highlighted the potential and determination of our players, who fought hard till the end.

Match 3: Devon

Our team found its stride in the third match against Devon, securing a 4-2 victory.  Some outstanding victories took place with Noah Baghai sealing the win with a 11-9 victory in a match tiebreaker. Each member contributed to this well-deserved triumph, marking the high point of our competition.

Final Standings

Despite the mixed results, our team finished the County Cup event in 5th place. This experience at The Chichester Rackets & Fitness Club provided valuable lessons and showcased the grit and talent within our ranks. Each player: Jonah, Noah, Christo, William & Theo played with heart and represented our county with pride.

We look forward to building on this experience and returning stronger in the next County Cup.
